Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: Ph.D. in relevant fields;
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech;
JRF: Postgraduate degree in relevant fields with valid NET/GATE/JAM/JEST qualification.
Age Limit:
Scientist/Engineer SD – 35 years;
Scientist/Engineer SC – 30 years;
JRF – preferably 28 years as on 27 April 2026 (age relaxation as per Govt. rules).
Salary / Pay Scale
Scientist/Engineer SD: Level‑11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700);
Scientist/Engineer SC: Level‑10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500);
JRF: ₹37,000/- p.m. (1st & 2nd year), ₹42,000/- p.m. (subsequent years) plus allowances.
