Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Research Associate (RA): Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences or 3 years of research experience after M.Tech (Life Sciences) with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with a 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3 years bachelor’s degree and UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years for RA and 35 years for SRF, with relaxations applicable as per government rules.
Salary / Pay Scale
Research Associate (RA): Rs. 58,000 + 27% HRA (Fixed per month). Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 37,000 + 30% HRA (Fixed per month).
