Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Tradesman: ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Diesel/Fitter/Turner/Welder/Electrician/Instrumentation/Carpentry + 10th Class pass + 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair.
Seaman: 10th Class pass + 3 years experience in sea-going mechanized vessel (2 years in helmsman & seamanship work).
Greaser: 10th Class pass + 3 years experience in sea-going mechanized vessel on main & auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Age Limit:
Tradesman: Not more than 25 years (relaxable for Govt. servants by 5 years).
Seaman & Greaser: 18-25 years (age relaxation applicable as per rules).
Salary / Pay Scale
Tradesman: Level-2 (Rs.19,900-63,200). Seaman & Greaser: Level-1 (Rs.18,000-56,900).
