Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a relevant life science discipline with a Bachelor’s degree in any life science discipline. Minimum 60% marks in postgraduation.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women and other exempted categories.
Salary / Pay Scale
Junior Research Fellow (IARI, New Delhi): Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA (1st and 2nd year); Rs. 42,000/- + 27% HRA (3rd year). Junior Research Fellow (IARI RS, Shimla): Rs. 37,000/- + 10% HRA (1st and 2nd year); Rs. 42,000/- + 10% HRA (3rd year).
