Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For JRF: Postgraduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology or any other branch of Life Science with at least 55% marks. Candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Tests ICAR, CSIR, UGC-NET, or GATE.
For RA-I: A Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology or a related discipline from a reputed University/Institution.
Age Limit: 28 years for JRF, 40 years for RA-I (relaxation as per GOI rules).
Salary / Pay Scale
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): INR 37,000 + 18% HRA per month. Research Associate I (RA-I): INR 58,000 + 18% HRA per month.
